Since the beginning of the semester, 24 students have been exercising their vocal chords in preparation for this year’s annual music trip. On May 14, The Family Foundation School will officially be showing off their chorus at a music trip for the 19th time. Without Paul Geer, The Family Foundation School’s Choral Director, none of this could have been possible.
Paul first heard of the school when the school’s church choir piano player asked him to play in a duet. Paul really enjoyed the experience, so he decided to volunteer for the church choir. That was back in 1992, and somewhere between then and now, Paul has become a devoted teacher of music lessons and chorus.
Paul talked about the experience of teaching, “To teach is to learn twice. It’s a beautiful and humbling experience to work with very talented and excited students.”
